"This was the best buy in the Valley" says Roland Perez, who bought a new home here two years ago and describes himself as "a very careful shopper." He hunted all around for one year, cutting out lists, analyzing costs per square foot and being discriminating about his requirements. "I wanted to be behind gates on a golf course, in a new home. I needed at least 1,800 square feet. I wanted swimming pools, tennis courts and a good view was also very important to me. And, I didn't want to put in time on maintenance."
